ME rebuild
Rebuild the Intel ME region to fix shutdowns after 30 minutes, fans at full speed or no boot after a chip swap or a wrong ME flash.
Use it (log in first)All online tools
What it fixes
- The PCH / CPU was replaced, or a BIOS from another machine was flashed, so the ME region no longer matches the board
- The laptop shuts down about 30 minutes after power-on (classic ME corruption)
- After flashing, fans run at full speed with no display
How to use
- Log in → Online tools → choose “ME rebuild”
- Upload the board’s original BIOS (full chip dump from a programmer)
- Add ME / EC files if asked (use the suggested ones if unsure)
- Download the rebuilt BIOS a few minutes later and write it back
What you need
A full BIOS dump (.bin) read by a programmer; the matching ME firmware (optional)
Note:Back up the original BIOS before writing.
